Hannah Blurbs #1

Barry Hannah, who I once took a one-off MFA workshop from, writes the most memorable book jacket blurbs in American literature. They are, in and of themselves, something of an art form. As an avowed curator of Hannah blurbs, I will, from time to time, use this blog to exhibit their rare hallucinatory qualities.

Today's entry comes from Work Shirts for Madmen by George Singleton:

Smackover funny and rare, many of Singleton's laughs come from deep wit and not easy Southern eccentricities and the rough-screeching Skoal crowd.
